Discover the beauty of Villa Teshir, a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom character holiday villa with a large private pool, lush gardens and breath taking sea and mountain views from all areas.
This ex-tapestry villa has all the original beautiful features you would expect with the stone, marble and cedar wood in abundance
However, whilst leaving all the character intact, this winter, the villa is undergoing a full renovation with new bathrooms, updated kitchen with island unit, pool and completely new furniture throughout, all ready for May 2025.

Our Story
My husband, Richard and I know Kalkan very well and have been visiting for years. I have always wanted to own a "Romantic traditional stone house" and when Villa Teshir became available in January 2024, we knew it would be the perfect villa for us, with its stunning sea views and abundance of character.
We hope you love her as much as we do!
Our Services
We provide a range of services to enhance your stay, including arranging airport transfers, meeting you at the villa on arrival, weekly housekeeping, and local recommendations.
We also include a welcome pack including wine for you to enjoy on your arrival at the villa.
Our goal is to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible and both our local English speaking agent or ourselves are available to help you get the most from your stay, before and during your holiday.

Villa Teshir is set in the heart of Kalkan. Ortaalan is a 10 minute walk into town and situated well below the D400.
The nearest supermarkets, Migros and Macro, are only a 5 minutes walk away.
Whilst a car is not necessary we have a private parking space.

This lovely detached villa has large spacious outdoor areas comprising of a large pool (6m x 5m) with Roman steps for easy access.
There is a secluded garden with lemon and olive trees and a large veranda which runs the entire length of the villa. Here you will find a comfortable seating area comprising of sofas and easy chairs.

The spacious terrace surrounding the pool has a dining area, 4 sun loungers and a built brick BBQ, all over looking the Kalkan bay.
On the first floor is a "kosk" balcony with comfortable lounge seating, perfect for relaxing and looking out to sea or enjoying the twinkling lights of Kalkan in the evening.

Villa Teshir is on 2 levels and the stone floors inside and out give it a charm of its own.
The spacious ground floor comprises of a dining kitchen, lounge and cloakroom.
The kitchen is fully fitted and includes all the usual modern appliances, a water cooler and a Nespresso coffee maker.
From here, French doors lead directly to the pool
Villa Teshir is on 2 levels and the stone floors inside and out give it a charm of its own.
The spacious ground floor comprises of a dining kitchen, lounge and cloakroom.
The kitchen is fully fitted and includes all the usual modern appliances, a water cooler and a Nespresso coffee maker.
From here, French doors lead directly to the pool terrace.
The comfortable lounge has sofas, easy chairs and a coffee table. There is a 42 inch flat screen TV offering all the English channels you may require.
There is direct access out to the veranda, shaded by olive trees from our garden below.
On the 1st floor there are 2 ensuite bedrooms, both with large fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a 4 poster 6 ft king size bed. Bedroom 2 has twin beds.
Both bedrooms have stunning sea views with shutters on the windows to keep you cool in the summer months.
Hairdryers are provided in each bedroom.

Just a short walk to the town and the harbour
You don't need a car when you stay at Villa Teshir. It's a 10 minute walk to the town with all its restaurants and bars and 15 minutes to the harbour. The nearest supermarket is just 5 minutes walk away.
Taxis are easily available and your not far from the bus station.
Dalaman airport is a 1hr 40m transfer and Antalya is 2hr 30m . We can help you to organise transfers with reliable local companies who can also provide car hire or a host of local trips .

Loved our stay here at Villa Teshir. Beautiful views of Kalkan bay which do not disappoint. We loved the pool area, great pool great area for sunbathing and then has it’s cooler areas which are needed. It’s clean it’s kept cool with the A/C, overall a lovely villa, definitely one we would rent again!

Friends had recommended Kalkan and it did not disappoint! Kalkan is beautiful with picturesque small streets and an abundance of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. However it was Villa Teshir that made our holiday. It has a good location, a 10 minute downhill stroll to the harbour. The return journey taking longer but there are plenty of taxis! The pool and gardens were tended to daily, and had spectacular views of the bay and mountains. Inside the villa was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything for a perfect stay. Our two teenagers were particularly impressed with the quality of the wifi. Lots of thought had been put in to make us feel welcome, with extra touches that exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that we had to come home!

Villa Teshir is definitely a gem on the hillside overlooking Kalkan. The villa itself is furnished and maintained to an exceptionally high standard throughout. Everything you can wish for being available. Being part of a group of 4 - two couples - it was brilliant to have so much space outside to let you take yourself away for a quiet read; with the added bonus it was always possible to find sun or shade throughout the day. The pool; immaculately kept by the pool man who came early every morning to ensure all was well and hose the patio down but in a unobtrusive way; never did we feel disturbed. I must mention the upper terrace!! If you do one thing please have drinks there before going out for your evening meal – we loved it!
